has highlighted that there are myriad options to convert or modify a van, and not all are easy and not all are cheap! At ECC Campervans we are constantly reviewing new products and are creating our own so as we can offer any modification or accessory you may desire and giver you honest feedback on the practicalities and abilities of the product or modification required.
People often ask what the easiest and cheapest conversion is. Our reply is generally rather than just look at price let's look at needs.There may be no need to install a pop top if you only need a day van, or if you regularly need to carry 6 people the 3 seat Rib bed is the best option. At ECC Campervans we can help tailer a Campervan to your requirements and budget.
Dependent on the amount of time and when you use the van will dictate best options, we can start with a simple cassette gas cylinder twin hob which will suite most situations, this can be supplemented with a grill oven if required, but in general a combined hob sink unit will be ideal. Another option is to install a Wallace hob, this unit gives a 2-ring glass toped easy clean ceramic style hob that hinges to become a very efficient and safe campervan heater all supplied from the van’s main diesel tank with no need for gas canisters onboard.

Most Conversions opt for 1 or 2 under sink water bottles, these are easily removed for filling with a submersible pump inside that allows for water on tap at the sink above. A more involved option is an underslung water tank which is filled via a connection at the rear and remains in situ, the extra quantity of water would allow an onboard water heater to give warm water on tap and possibly an external beach shower.
